Writer + Actor + Singer

Home

Brittany Nicole Tatum is a New Jersey-based singer, actor, writer, and lifelong fan of daydreaming up big ideas. Through song or strategic plan, she's drawn to the same question: what actually moves people?

Brittany returned to the stage in 2025, after a fourteen-year break from performing sparked by two college auditions, for Seussical and Spring Awakening respectively. Since then, Brittany has spent the past decade working across global and national NGOs, public relations agencies, and media companies. Brittany’s had the pleasure of working for multiple organizations advocating for gender equality and reproductive freedom throughout her career.

Brittany is currently the Senior Communications Manager for Moms First, a national non-profit organization fighting for America’s moms and policies like affordable childcare and paid leave. In her almost three years with the Moms First, she has landed features in The Washington Post, The Cut, CBS Sunday Morning, PBS NewsHour, NPR, and The New York Times.

You can see her in Collingswood Community Theatre's production of 9 to 5: The Musical in January 2027. To see what she’s up to next follow her on Instagram at @brittanyntatum.
